Flywheel magneto NTS 6V-33W Electronic for Puch Maxi

High-quality, self-triggering electronic magneto ignition without pickup or CDI, maintenance-free and breakerless.
Fits for Puch Maxi.
The kit is delivered complete as shown in the picture.

Can replace Bosch, Iskra, Ducati, Motoplat, Stefa, and other ignition systems.

Technical data:

  • Flywheel, outer diameter: 116mm
  • Stator plate, outer diameter: Ø = approx. 90mm
  • Stator plate, bolt spacing c-c: approx. 79mm (4 mounting holes)
  • Primary coil/light coil, bolt spacing: c-c: approx. 54mm
  • Light coil: 6V-33W (designed for use with voltage regulator)
  • Rotation direction: Clockwise (left side)
  • For crankshaft with taper: K1:5 (20%) and input diameter Ø = 12mm
  • Flywheel puller: Thread M26x1.5 (see NTS part no: 01-37-401)

Function:

The source coil in the stator provides both:

  • energy to the ignition coil

  • the ignition timing

The ignition timing is determined by:

  • the position of the magnets in the rotor

  • the physical position of the coil

Inside the external ignition coil there is:

  • a diode and a transistor that detect the peak of the voltage pulse
    → the current is interrupted → spark

Replaces previous NTS part no: K-4005.
