Robust and reliable 3-pole voltage limiter for 6 V systems, rated for up to 12 A (approx. 72 W). Suitable for mopeds and motorcycles with simple AC or combined AC/DC electrical systems.
The voltage limiter effectively protects the lighting system by preventing excessive voltage and suppressing harmful voltage spikes. Excess voltage is diverted to ground, extending the service life of the bulbs. It is typically used for the headlight and tail light and, depending on the electrical system, also for instrument lighting, horn, etc. on the AC side.
Important:
The unit must have a very good ground connection both via the housing (mounting screw) and via the wire from terminal 3. It should be mounted on the vehicle in a position that ensures adequate cooling.
