The float level must be adjusted to the dimensions specified below. This is primarily done by bending the float tab upward or downward. If additional adjustment is required, carefully bend the entire metal float arm slightly to allow finer adjustment using the tab.

See picture 2 for an easy way to measure the level using a standard caliper.
