Replacement lighting and charging coil for Yamaha DT50MX models equipped with a 6V magneto ignition system.
The coil has two output leads and supplies both the lighting circuit and the battery charging circuit.
Connections:

Yellow/Red wire – AC output for the lighting circuit (headlight and tail light)

White wire – AC output for battery charging via the rectifier

Ground – through the coil core/stator plate
Electrical system:

White charging output is connected to the battery through the rectifier.

Yellow/Red lighting output is connected to the lighting circuit and voltage regulator.
The lighting and charging outputs are taken from different points of the same continuous winding.
