NTS Type SSB 1/17 is a compact, precision-engineered slide carburetor designed for two-stroke engines used in classic European mopeds. With a 17mm venturi diameter, it offers an excellent balance of fuel economy, rideability, and engine performance, making it a popular choice for both original restorations and well-maintained everyday machines.

Its horizontal airflow design, adjustable jet needle, needle jet, and separate idle circuit provide a smooth and precise air-fuel mixture throughout the entire RPM range. The result is easy starting, stable idling, smooth acceleration, and reliable performance under varying riding conditions.

The NTS SSB 1/17 is built for long service life and easy maintenance. The jets, float, float needle valve, and other wear parts are easily accessible, making cleaning, adjustment, and rebuilding straightforward. All spare parts are available from NTS.

This carburetor is supplied without an internal air filter, as this version is designed exclusively for use with the external intake silencer 09-17-201.
